什麼樣的工作會讓人不想做？
1.事情太少
2.薪水太多
3.工時太短
4.冷氣太冷
5.主管太機車
什麼樣的人，會把一封告訴對方，你問的問題不屬本機關的管轄範疇的信，把「I am afraid there has been some misunderstanding」，改成「I am glad to inform you that...(we are no longer in the position to answer the questions you are asking so go find someone else to answer your @#$% questions). 」
乾脆說「I am glad that your questions are not my problem」！
記得以前在上English Improvement時，老師曾經用一堂課的時間，教我們英文表達遺憾、憤怒、抗議的信件要怎麼寫。寫來寫去怎麼都不脫 I am afraid. 搞得那陣子同學之間動不動就'I am afraid.....(I will have to share your lunch cos I've brought nothing)'
應該把這兩年來在公家機關遇到的「英文」問題蒐集起來，出一本「台灣人常見的英文錯誤」。
例一：one economic PhD
two economic PhDs
Q:economic 也要加S，變成two economics PhDs，這樣才是複數
A:#$%$#-------------(WHATEVER!)
例二：as of February, 2006,.....
Q: as of? 沒聽過。應該要用 At the end of February 2006 or By February 2006
A:#$%$#-------------(IF IT MAKES YOU HAPPY!)
